FixTrack — QR-Based Maintenance Reporting System

Scan a location QR code, report a problem, track the maintenance ticket

What it does#

Students scan a location-specific QR code (restroom, trash can, etc.) to create a maintenance ticket with a problem description and a photo, without hunting for a phone number or a form. Tickets are assigned to staff, who resolve them and reply with their own status update and photos.

Architecture#

A React Native mobile app talks to an AWS API Gateway/Lambda backend, with DynamoDB holding ticket data and S3 storing the uploaded photos.

Admin interface#

A separate admin interface handles user management, ticket monitoring, and statistical reports across all submitted tickets.
